About PNW Woodworking

PNW Woodworking is a one man side-hustle run by Blake Fisher in the rainy Pacific Northwest. I’ve been passionate about wood working and carpentry for many years, but only got the opportunity to pursue the passion in earnest about two years ago as I came into a small shop space. I work in a large engineering company by day and make plane shavings by night. Carpentry is a wonderful creative outlet and brings me so much joy - it is a great amalgam of my engineering background and my creative side.

Most of my work to date is on the smaller side (hand made boxes, chess sets, small keepsakes, etc), but I’ve had the pleasure of making a few larger projects both painted and not, which have helped me to learn some new skills. My work is simple and I try to let the grain of the wood do all the talking.

If you’re in need of something beautiful made of wood, please do give me a shout. Although nothing I make is created swiftly, I take great care in each chisel strike and I believe you’ll be pleased with the end result.
